To my friends and family,
I am very pleased to announce that I have accepted a new position as Marketing Director for REAL Watersports. Based in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, REAL is the largest kitesurfing school and retailer of kitesurfing equipment in the world.
In three weeks, Hatteras Island will be my new home. I will live by the sea in a house on stilts. I will kite on my lunch breaks. I will travel the land promoting kitesurfing and I will not rest until every man, woman and child has experienced their first post session buzz. :o)
Kitesurfing changes lives. It’s a commitment, but once over the hump kitesurfing will give you a sense of freedom and clarity like nothing you've ever felt before. I hope I have the opportunity to introduce each and every one of you to this extraordinary sport.
Until then, farewell. Thank you to those few who encouraged me every step of the way as I chose to destroy a perfectly good career in the investment management business. I am forever indebted to you!
If any of you ever need a hideout, for whatever reason, please do not hesitate to call. I couldn't think of a better place to lay low than Hatteras Island. :o)
